 1. The speed of the grinding wheel
The maximum working line speed is specified on the label of the grinding wheel. Before using, it must be confirmed whether the spindle speed of the machine tool is within the linear speed range of the grinding wheel. Sometimes it is not enough to check the motor speed of the machine, but also calculate the speed ratio of the belt pulley.
2. Normative operation
Operators sometimes do not follow the process requirements. For example, the amount of feed is specified to be 2 wires per time, and some operators have to increase the amount of feed to 5 wires per time in order to catch up with the output. In this way, the grinding wheel is difficult to work normally, the workpiece is easy to cause burns, and some burn surfaces do not show blue burn marks, but in fact the hardness of the workpiece has been lowered, which has a great influence on the quality of the workpiece.
3. Diamond dresser
The normal line of the diamond pen and the grinding wheel should have an angle of 15°. The diamond pen can rotate several faces to keep the sharpness for a long time. If the diamond pen is blunt, it will not be checked and replaced, and the grinding wheel is still being repaired so that the quality of grinding is not good.
4. Grinding machine maintenance work
According to the safety maintenance requirements, the machine needs regular maintenance. If the maintenance work is not taken seriously in order to save expenses, the machine condition is not good, for example, the spindle accuracy is degraded or the bearing is excessively worn, which will have a very adverse effect on the grinding.
5. Processing workpiece instability
It is mainly manifested in the instability of the size margin, and the heat treatment hardness fluctuations are large.
6. Whether the cooling system is reliable or not
Sometimes the user will reflect scratches on the surface of the workpiece. In addition to the impure abrasive grain size, filtration of the cooling system is key. If the filtration is not good, the metal chips will be recycled to the grinding area, causing scratches on the surface of the workpiece. In addition, whether the flow rate of the coolant is sufficient or not directly affects the grinding effect.
During the handling, we sometimes see workers rolling large grinding wheels on the ground, so that they accidentally hit other objects, causing the grinding wheel to be cornerless. It is extremely dangerous for the grinding wheel to run at high speed without corners. Therefore, we must try our best to avoid irregular handling.
