Compact Dense Fused Alumina
Compact Fused Alumina, also called Dense Fused Alumina, is a high end refractory material made from reduced fusion of high purity alumina powder and reducing agent in electric arc furnace. Its main content is Aluminium Oxide(Al2O3) and looks dark grey or light grey. The fused Compact Fused Alumina is cooled down and crushed and graded into grits/grains suitable for refractory applications. It's Aluminium Oxide content is over 96% and porosity rate is less than 4%, and is acid and alkali resistant, slag resistant, abrasion resisant, anti heat shock, stable in chemical content under high temperature. Compact Fused Alumina is widely used in steel making industry, metallurgical, ceramic, glass, construction materials etc.
